art object,
Hello friends! How are you? I hope everything is great with you!
Here are just the first days of Autumn, but I already miss Summer! So I have this Last Summer Project in my mind.
Also I have in my mind shakers. Because recently it looks like everybody create only shakers! They suddenly become hugely fashionable, and I have no idea why!
Anyway, I decide that this is great reason to try and create one by myself, especially considering that I have never made them before.
And immediately I decided to be ambitious! And created this spinning shaker card, that looks like kaleidoscope. Result is not exactly as I thought it will be, but still I like how sparky and rich it turned out. Great for Christmas.
In my second attempt I decided to be more traditional.
I used thick foam as a shaker base. I cut window in foam using die cut in the maple leaf shape. I filled window with red, green and golden glitter, sequences and micro beads.
I painted Autumn themed composition in my card base, so small sequences inside looks like tiny leaves. Then I put film between foam and facial paper.
So simple and so beautiful result in same time! I liked it so much, that decided create more similar cards. And one of them become my farewell to summer.
Card inside.
I will make detailed tutorial for this technique in my next post. Big chance that it will be video tutorial, so stay tuned!
I hope you liked this post! Stay safe and happy! And see you soon!
Shake It! Shake It All Year Around!
